Eager BEEvers

The Eager BEEvers are six guild members who first met in August of 2009 with the purpose of sewing quilts for charity and for guild service projects. They meet monthly in the homes of the members yet sewing and quilting continues throughout the month by individuals in their homes. Some months they all work on the same project or pattern while other months individual projects are done.

The BEEvers support Guild service projects, Wrap-A-Smile Rotary Club Project, and A Small Hand (infant pantry) and Mission Central at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church (a children’s clothes closet).

Since 2009 to date BEEvers have sewed, quilted, and donated over 300 quilts to Wrap-A-Smile, over 130 quilts to A Small Hand, over 380 quilts for SVQG’s projects, 17 to Mission Central and 25 quilts for community needs.
