Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley Quilters Guild, this year we celebrate our 30th anniversary. We are a non-profit organization who work together to promote the art, history, and love of quilting. Our members consist of both men and women, those with many years of experience and those just beginning.

We meet every third Saturday of each month from 9:30 to noon at Sunnyside Retirement Village in the Shenandoah Valley near Harrisonburg, Virginia (see directions).

Each month our Program Director plans a program. Our programs vary each month to include one of the following: quilt instructors – program and class, service projects, annual auction, summer picnic or Christmas party. SVQG provides quilt classes to members and non-members, to participate in our classes (see Programs).

During our meetings: SVQG members and visitors may share their finished projects during “Show and Tell”, a rotating 550+ library where members may borrow quilt books, a monthly raffle, information bulletin board, freebies table where members share unwanted items from their quilt rooms, refreshments, and time to meet and greet friends.

Every other year we host a quilt show to promote and share our love of quilting with our community and visitors from across the country, our last quilt show was held in June of 2016 (see Quilt Show).

We invite you to come and join in the fun.
